Inspire Finance 3 App Reviews

Great program - just what I need to track income and expenses without having to set up complex accounts before i even start. Had issues with it freezing up, not recording data, and unclear as to location of data. In any event I am pleased with the program set up and ease of use and I am sure that these issues will be resolved. I would recommend this program if you need to show income and all your expenses within a simple framework.

Unless I’m missing something, after I purchased this program, you only have the option to save to the cloud or dropbox. Why would I put my finances online, and why can’t I just save to a file? Great looking program, great features but in my case a disappointment.

This is a visually beautiful app with an easy to use interface. I literally just opened it and started using it with very little refactoring as I learned tricks in how it wants to be used. It is fully usaable and I am using it to budget various family activities in separate wallets. This is something I love and is a great workflow. The only things I wish to see in future versions is 1) more category icons or the ability to add your own icons. 2) the ablity to add a quantity so I have both the cost and quantity with a cost per unit calculated for me. I may buy a soccer ball or 5 soccer balls for example in one transaction. 3) data file import to avoid bulk data entry. You cannot go wrong with this app and I can see myself still using it a years from now.

Just needs an iPhone app and it’d be perfect

The app does not currently (as of May 4, 2014) have the ability to import your banking transactions. In other words, you have to manually enter the transactions rather than importing from Quicken or Money files. If you’re cool with data entry, I’m sure the app is swell. If you’re looking to be productive, however, you might wait until the app matures a little.

Very easy to use! Simple entry of expenses!

Just downloaded this app and first thing i noticed is the calendar is 1 day off for july 2014. Cannot change this so program at this point is useless. I will change my rating after this is fixed, thanks.

It needs an import feature and an iPad & iPhone version. It says there is a way to access your data from an iPad, but I don’t know how. Plus, i don’t see a way to contact support with questions.

Great application but is 1 day off. Hopefully they fix this problem and i will give 5 star rating.

This program does exactly what I need it to do. It is very user-friendly. Some reviews didn’t like that you could not import. I find that manually entering my spending helps me understand where everything is going.

I just bought this application and input all of my info, but I cannot sync my inspire calender with my icalender. I figured that this would be a pretty general feature, but apparently it is not. I thought it would have been great to have been able to find out what bills were getting paid when they were gettnng paid and also be alerted when a bill was upcoming. I tried to reach out the the developer, but realised after speaking with apple that there is no contact info for this developer. So im stuck with it and cannot do anything about it. However, if this problem does get resolved then I would be more than happy to change my rating, but until then I am not very satisfied with my purchase. Thanks!

I tried the light version, then decided to buy the full version. Love it! The app is user-friendly!

A beautifully crafted program thats a pleasure to use. Powerful, smart and clean… virtually flawless. Went from the (free) Lite version to this paid app in just under two hours. Nicely done, Mr. Świedliński. -HI-

Very intuitive as promised !

I have used many finance apps in the past, so I decided to give this a whirl. Very intuitive user interface, simple and effective. However, we need to have options to create subcategories. Also, we need to treat our credit cards as accounts, and not expense categories. We all use different credit cards for different purchases, so lets say, the “eat out category” I should be able to add a transaction, but choose which account for the transaction to be applied to, this will allow the user to have an overlook on how much he has spent on “eat out” regardless of each “wallet” or account he has selected. Reports are a major component of any finance app, and the reports here are coming short in many areas, especially in the export section. There’s no .pdf report, the xls report is a joke, and .txt report is rediculous and completly useless. There is no graphics in any report, not bars, graphs or charts. Many apps offer a forecast of your finances, and also how much you’ve spent daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly. Overall, I think this app has the ability to be #1, however Homebudget still has the edge, it is much more poweful.

Just what I have been looking for! The statistics are great but the pie chart seems to be a little broken for me at least. Also, I wish that when we “add a transaction” in the “new transaction” dialog, we could customize what our options are in “basic”. Adding “place” or “person” to the “basic” section would be great but instead i have to hit Additional everytime. No big deal. Otherwise it looks very modern and is very simple and great. Can’t beat the price. UPDATE: My sync with iCloud does not seem to work very well. I will try to sync with dropbox next but the iCloud one stopped syncing all together. Any fixxes for this?

I reallly like the App but it needs ending balance after each transaction

I did my homework and found the reviews for this app to show a solid, sound and easy financial tool for the everyday person to use, BUT where is the tutorial? I need something that walks me thru how to get started. The list of FAQs on the website isn’t very helpful. Where is the start guide?

HELP DEVELOPER PLEASE EXPAND THE PIE CHART TO ACCOMODATE ALL CATEGORIES THAT ARE CREATED YOU NEED TO PLEASE ADD THE ABILITY OF THE PIE CHART TO UTILIZE MULTIPLE COLORS AND SHOW ENTIRE CATEGORIES ON PIE CHART TO ONLY HAVE (6) IS SOOOO DISAPPOINTING I SPENT HOURS AND HOURS ADDING CATEGORIES WITH GREAT CARE ONLY TO HIT “STATISTICS PIE CHART ONLY SHOWS 6 plus “OTHER” OMG PLEASE PLEASE EXPAND THAT SO WE CAN SEE all our categories on that pie chart use shading whatever it takes to colors WHYYYY SO LIMITED Please email me directly when you can expand the pie chart to include every category the person entered!!!

Easy to start right in with the things you need to keep track of without technical overkill of unneeded features.
